H1N1 Influenza - Protect Your Travel Investment

- H1N1 INFLUENZA, JOB LOSS, HURRICANES- PROTECT YOUR TRAVEL INVESTMENT

Travelers need to take the proper steps to cover vacation travel plans during uncertain economic challenges, the upcoming flu season, and our current hurricane season.

Emergencies can happen before or during your trip.
Don't forget to pack your travel insurance!

What if you lose your job due to involuntary termination or layoff?
What if you become too sick to take your trip, or need medical assistance while on your trip?
What if there's an emergency back home and you have to cut your trip short?
What if your luggage doesn't show up when you do?
What if you lose your wallet or identification?

Severe weather anywhere in the world- from thunderstorms and downpours to full-blown hurricanes, can frequently impact vacations at this time of year. Weather-related flight delays can lead to missed air connections and cruise departures. The best way to cover your vacation investment against the impact of severe weather is through a travel insurance plan that includes comprehensive trip cancellation, interruption and travel delay coverage, as well as 24-hour assistance and emergency travel services including emergency cash transfers, replacement of lost travel documents, coverage for emergency medical needs, and email and phone messaging to family and friends.

We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance for your upcoming trip.

Important Travel News: TSA Rule

Important Travel News: TSA Secure Flight Rule - effective August 15, 2009
As a valued Travel Leaders/Suntime Travel customer, we want to bring your attention to some important changes in the airline reservations process. Effective August 15, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requires you to provide your full name, date of birth, and gender for every airline reservation. This Secure Flight Rule is for the purpose of watch list screening, under the authority of 49 U.S.C. section 114, the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004 and 49 C.F.R. parts 1540 and 1560. You may also provide your Redress Number, if available. Failure to provide your full name, date of birth, and gender may result in denial of transport or denial of authority to enter the boarding area. TSA may share information you provide with law enforcement or intelligence agencies or others under its published system of records notice. For more on TSA privacy policies, please see the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) web site at www.tsa.gov.

How will this Secure Flight rule affect you? In order to minimize undue delays during check-in, your Travel Leaders/Suntime Travel agent will be asking you for this information to ensure we have it stored securely and accurately in your profile. We in turn will share this information with the airline as we make reservations for you. We will ask that you ensure that the date you provide exactly matches the document you present to identify yourself at check-in. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) understands that personal privacy is important to you. Your personal date will be collected, used, distributed, stored, and disposed of in accordance with stringent guidelines and all applicable privacy laws and regulations. Frequently asked questions and a detailed Secure Flight program overview can be found at www.tsa.gov, Keyword: Secure Flight
